Darke Creative had been brought in by The Martins Arms in the idyllic Vale of Belvoir village of Colston Bassett for a rebrand, to position it as a destination venue. The owner and head chef, Laurence Henry, MasterChef: The Professionals winner 2018 took on The Martins Arms in 2024 and over the last year has been renovating the classic country pub with plans to expand.

A NEW NAME AND LOOK

Darke Creative proposed renaming as The Martins, to give the pub a new more refined name to reflect the ambitions of the owners. This was then followed up with the development of a very classy, modest brand identity.

Serving Up the New Look

After developing the new brand, Darke Creative’s attention was to redesig the website. Taking the new refined look for The Martins, the designer and web developers created a clean and easy to use website. Clear direction for customers to book a table or book a stay.
