The Carnival Came to Town

Darke Creative have worked with Nineteen Group on various events over the years, The Retail Technology Show (RTS) being one of them. Back in 2021 Darke Creative designed the brand for the 2022 RTS show to be held at Olympia, which marked the  beginning of a brand new era for this premier destination for innovation, insight, and connection in the world of retail.

For this fourth instalment of the Retail Technology Show and the first to be held at the ExCel London, Nineteen Group asked us to come up a few different concepts based on Carnival, Western and Wonderland. From these Carnival was chosen as the theme for 2025 show as it was felt it gave the best scope to create a real spectacle.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

Darke Creative designed and developed the new look and feel for the 2025 show. This process involves keeping key brand elements i.e. the logo, fonts, hexagon shape, and the red, purple and black colour palette, then design and produce the new theme elements around these. This helps keep the RTS brand recognisable no matter the theme.

ROLL UP, ROLLING OUT THE CARNIVAL THEME

After developing the new brand for Beava Direct, the next stage was to develop the brand for packaging. The packaging was designed to keep a consistent look across the many different shapes and sizes of product Beava produces.
